Frequently Asked Questions

CAMPING BEAUSEJOUR

Who are we?

Camping Beauséjour is a family-run business. It was founded in the early 1960s by Joseph Le Floch, a farmer by trade. Camping Beauséjour was the first classified private campsite on the Quiberon Peninsula, in 1966. Later on, his son, Yves Le Floch, took over the management of the campsite in 1989 as an independent business. Eventually, the grandson, the current manager Guillaume Le Floch, took over in 2013 under the legal form of a SAS (simplified joint-stock company). Our campsite has been classified as a 2-star establishment since its opening. This is a deliberate choice: we do not wish to upgrade our classification or change our clientele. In fact, we have loyal regulars, some of whom have been coming for over 30 years!

Where is Camping Beauséjour located?

Region: Brittany. Department: Morbihan (56). Municipality: Quiberon (56170). We are located on the bay side of the Quiberon Peninsula, in the village of Saint Julien, 2 km from Quiberon town centre and the same distance from Saint Pierre-Quiberon town centre.

How can I check availability?

You can check directly via our online booking platform or contact us to enquire.

What is the online booking process?

On our website homepage, click on the “je réserve” (“I book”) button at the top right. You will be redirected to our “Secure Holiday” booking gateway.
Then choose whether you want a Pitch/Mobile Home/Cabanétape®. Click “start”. Enter your arrival and departure dates. Click “next”. Indicate the number of guests: adults, children, and their ages. Click “search”. The system will display available options and prices. Click “book”. Fill in all the required fields, add any extras if needed, then click “finalise”. Next, verify the booking details and click “continue” if everything is correct. Accept the general terms and conditions, select your deposit payment method, and click “validate”.
You will receive an email confirming that your request has been received (status: “order awaiting validation”). If you chose to pay by card, you will receive a second email informing you that your card will soon be charged (but hasn't been yet).

What is the deposit for a cabin?

A deposit of 200€ is required before entering the accommodation (by cheque, cash, or credit card). 150€ covers the cabin itself, and 50€ is for cleaning, which you must do before departure. The cleaning deposit is kept if the cabin is not returned in a satisfactory state of cleanliness.

What is included in the cabin?

We provide 2 pillows and a fleece blanket for 2 people. You must bring your own sleeping bags or duvets. The pillows and mattress are covered with white protective covers treated for anti-stains and anti-dust mites. These covers are not disposable and must remain in place upon departure. They are cleaned between each stay with suitable products.
